What makes a good photo?
1) Make sure your photo has good lighting so pet-face details are visible without being overexposed. 2) A head-on shot is preferred with the full face (including both ears) visible. 3) Avoid blurry photos; higher clarity produces better final detail.
Can I upload something other than a dog or cat?
Absolutely. Pet Friends encourages uploads of pets, humans, cars, and even logos.
How long does it take to receive my product?
Artwork proof is sent within 2–3 business days after purchase. After proof approval, production takes up to 7 business days. Shipping is via USPS/UPS in the continental US and usually takes 3–5 business days. Holiday turnaround may vary.
What if I don't like my proof?
No worries! Every order comes with free revisions. If you want us to tweak the colors, adjust the expression, or fix any details, we've got you. We'll keep revising until you love it. 🐾
What if I want to use a different photo after my artwork is created?
We totally understand, sometimes a better photo pops up! Since our artists hand-draw each portrait from scratch, swapping to a new photo means creating brand new artwork. There's a small fee for photo swaps (starting at $10), but we'll always work with you to make it right.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel within 24 hours of placing your order for a full refund, no questions asked. After 24 hours, our artists have typically already started (or completed) your custom artwork. If you cancel after artwork has been created, we'll refund everything except a partial artwork fee (typically $20 of the $25-$35 artwork cost) since that work can't be reused for another customer.
